A commercial company should know the cost of a product which is produced by them to keep up their position in the market. There are elements that affect cost directly or indirectly. The direct elements, which affect cost in a knitting mill, are raw material cost, labor cost, energy cost, amortisation cost, fixation cost and treatment cost. The amount of knitted fabric which is produced in determined time depends on the fabric pattern, properties, yarn, finishing process and knitting machine.
