Schizophrenia is an early onset disorder that impacts the individuals deeply for their lifetimes. The disorder causes setbacks in quality of life, social interactions, general hygiene and a number of other aspects without full recovery. Increase in mortality and lifetime reductions of up to 10 years are observed during this chronic and destructive process. Possible causes of death include medical conditions that affect general health as well as suicide.
