These are namely; Maden complex, İspendere ophiolite and Baskil granitoid. Late Cretaceous İspendere Ophiolite, one of the Neotethyan oceanic crustal remnants from the Eastern Tauride mountains, is located to the east of Malatya city in the southeast Anatolia.
