Analysis of the cashew nuts marketing system in Benin: example from the Parakou and Ndali provinces.

Üreticilerin işletme büyüklüklerine, kaju üretim alanı ve verimi ile üretim miktarları ve üretim maliyetleri ve kar marjları, işletme büyüklüklerine göre incelenmiştir. Çoklu regresyon madeliyle yapılan analiz sonuçların göre işletmelerin karlılığına etkileyen faktörler; üreticinin medeni durumu, eğitim seviyesi, pazarlama organizasyon üyeliği, kredi kullanmı miktarı, kursa katılma durumu, işgücü masraflarıyla işletme sermayesi olarak belirlenmiştir. Benin’de kaju üretimi kırsal üreticiler için önemli bir gelir kaynağı olarak görülmektedir.In 2014, 80 producers and 20 trader representing Borgou and Alibori provinces were surveyed by questionnaires in order to determine the marketing structure of cashew production in Benin and to determine the factors affecting profitability. The operating quantities of the producers, the production area and yield of the cashews, the production quantities and production costs and the profit margins were examined according to the size of the enterprises. According to the results of analysis with multiple regression items, the factors affecting the profitability of enterprises; the marital status of the producer, the level of education, the membership of the marketing organization, the amount of credit used, the status of participation in the course, labor costs and working capital.
