Uzaktan eğitimde kullanılmak üzere web tabanlı bir portal yazılımı geliştirme

TEZ5679Tez (Yüksek Lisans) -- Çukurova Üniversitesi, Adana, 2006.Kaynakça (s. 138-149) var.x, 154 s. : res. ; 29 cm.As a result of competition in the social and traditional life among individuals in modern communities, sharing and re-producing process of the knowledge have accelerated extremely and led the whole life including education phases and professional life turning into a learning process or a learning life by forcing the individuals to be a part of information society from birth to death. Web based education using computer and web based Internet technologies stands for an alternative in the satisfaction of the common and professional education demands, which are not supplied by the conventional education systems, with the following advantages: removing time and place limitation, satisfying possibility and opportunity equality, being independent from individual differences, geographical difficulties, lack of establishment and staff, excluding traveling, food and accommodation expenses, and being student-centred. In this study, a portal software has been developed considering teaching theories and pedagogical approaches to be used for web based education. PHP programming language, MySQL database system, Apache web server and Linux operating system have constituted the components of the portal. Sample courses have been prepared to asses the portal and an assessment questionnaire developed has been applied to experts. The data has been examined in view of visuality and attraction, presentation and technical structure, and educational properties and it has been shown the portal is found to be successful by the experts.Modern toplumlarda sosyal ve ticari hayattaki rekabetin sonucu olarak bilginin paylaşımı ve yeniden bilgiye dönüştürülme süreci son derece hızlanmış, bireyleri doğumdan ölüme kadar bilgiyle iç içe olmaya zorlayarak, eğitim evreleri ve mesleki yaşantıyı da içine alan tüm hayatın bir öğrenme süreci ya da öğrenme yaşantısı haline dönüşmesine yol açmıştır. Bireylerin geleneksel eğitim sistemleri tarafından karşılanamayan yaygın ve mesleki eğitim taleplerinin karşılanmasında; zaman ve mekân sınırlamalarını kaldıran, imkân ve fırsat eşitliği sağlayan, bireysel farklılıklar ve coğrafi engeller ile tesis ve personel eksikliklerinden bağımsız, ulaşım, gıda ve barınma gibi ilave masrafları olmayan, öğrenci merkezli yapıya uygun, bilgisayar ve ağ temelli İnternet teknolojilerini kullanan web tabanlı eğitim, bir alternatif/destek olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, web tabanlı eğitimde kullanılmak üzere, öğretim kuramları ve pedagojik yaklaşımlar gözetilerek bir portal yazılımı geliştirilmiştir. Portal bileşenlerini PHP programlama dili, MySQL veritabanı yönetim sistemi, Apache web sunucusu ve Linux işletim sistemi oluşturmuştur. Portalın değerlendirilmesi için örnek dersler hazırlanmış ve geliştirilen değerlendirme anketi uzmanlara uygulanmıştır. Veriler; görsellik ve etkileşim, sunuş ve teknik yapı ile eğitsel özellikler açısından incelenmiş ve portalın uzmanlar tarafından başarılı bulunduğu görülmüştür
