Reactions of some citrus rootstock and varieties to citrus gummosis (Phytophthora citrophthora) and effects of some fungicides on infection.

In addition the efficacy of Fosetyl- Al, metalaxyl, oxadixyl and cymoxanyl against mycelial growth of pathogen in vitro and pathogenesis on kütdiken lemon seedlings were also studied. The most susceptible variety was Ortanique, the most resistant was Napolitana among mandarin varieties. Apart from the other orange varieties, Navelina and Fukumoto that are early navels showed highest susceptibility, the less infection development occurred on Washington navel and Valencia. Kütdiken, among lemon varieties showed the highest level of susceptibility. Comparison between grapefruit varieties, the red ones Star ruby and Riored, were more susceptible to than others. Although infection development was rarely on rootstocks, Mexica laym and Orlando tangelo were the most susceptible ones beside Sour orange was determined as a most resistant rootstock.Bu çalışmada, 33 turunçgil çeşidi ve 14 turunçgil anacının Phytophthora citrophthora'ya karşı duyarlılıkları testlenmiştir. Ayrıca fosetyl-Al, metalaxyl, oxadixyl ve cymoxanyl'in in vitro'da patojenin miseliyal gelişmesine ve kütdiken limon fidanlarında hastalık oluşumu üzerine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Mandarin çeşitleri içerisinde en duyarlı ortanique, en dayanıklı ise Napolitiana olmuştur. Portakal çeşitlerinde ise erkenci navel gurubu portakallardan Navelina ve Fukumoto en yüksek duyarlılık gösterirken, Washington Navel ve Valensia'da daha az infeksiyon gelişimi olmuştur. Limon çeşitlerinden Kütdiken çok yüksek düzeyde duyarlılık göstermiştir. Altıntoplar'da ise kırmızı çeşitlerinden Star Ruby ve Rio Red diğer çeşitlere oranla daha duyarlı olmuştur. Anaçlarda genel olarak infeksiyon gelişmesi az olmasına karşın, Meksika laymı ve Orlando tangelo en duyarlı, Turunç ise en dayanıklı bulunmuştur. In vitro'da patojenin miseliyal gelişmesi üzerine en yüksek etkiyi metalaxyl gösterirken, bunu surasıyla fosetyl-Al, oxadixyl ve cymoxanyl izlemiştir. Fungisitlerin P. citrophthora'nın kütdiken limon fidanlarında hastalık oluşturması üzerine etkilerinin denendiği çalışmada, patojen inokulasyonundan 1 hafta once fungisit uygulanması en yüksek etkiyi göstermiştir. Bu uygulamada fosetyl-Al ve metalaxyl infeksiyon oluşumunu tamamen engellerken, oxadixyl ve cymoxanly'de çok az infeksiyon gelişimi olmuştur. Fungisitlerin patojen inokulasyonu ile birlikte uygulanması durumunda fosetyl-Al %100, inokulasyondan 1 hafta sonra uygulanması durumunda ise %96 düzeyinde yüksek bir etki elde edilmiştir.Bu çalışma Ç.Ü.
