Investigation of radionuclides in soil, ash and coal samples collected around Yumurtalık Sugözü and Afşin Elbistan power plant.

(bzs. rnk.), tablo ; 29 cm.Bu çalışmada, Su gözü termik santrali ve Afşin-Elbistan termik santrali civarındaki toprak, uçucu kül, dip külü, curuf ve kömür örneklerinin radyolojik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, termik santral kapıları referans olarak kabul edilerek 0-5000 metre arası uzaklıklarından toplanan toprak numunelerindeki doğal radyonüklit aktivite konsantrasyonları HPGe gama spektrometre sistemi ile ölçülmüştür. Afşin-Elbistan ve Su gözü termik santrali civarındaki toprak numuneleri için 226Ra, 232Th, 40K ortalama aktivite konsantrasyonları ölçülmüş ve Afşin-Elbistan termik santrali için 226Ra değeri UNSCEAR (United Nations Scientific Committee On The Effects Of Atomic Radiation) raporuna göre limit değerinin çok üzerinde olduğu bulunmuş, Su gözü termik santrali civarından alınan toprak örnekleri için ise limit değerin aşmadığı gözlenmiştir. Afşin-Elbistan termik santrali civarında uçucu kül, dip külü, curuf ve kömür örnekleri için 226Ra, 232Th, 40K aktivite değerleri elde edilmiştir.Ayrıca, radyum eş değer aktivite (Raeq), aktivite derişim indisi (I?), alfa indisi (I?), gama doz hızı (DR) ve etkin doz hızı (HR) değerleri hesaplanmıştır.In this study, the radiological characterization of soil, fly ash, bottom ash, slag and coal samples around Afşin-Elbistan thermal power plant and only soil samples near Su gözü thermal power plant were investigated. Natural radionuclideactivity concentrations in soil samples which are collected between 0 and 5000 meters from the gates of thermal power plants. All the samples were measured by HPGe gamma spectrometry system. The average activity concentrations of 226Ra, 232Th, 40K in soil samples around Afşin-Elbistan and Su gözü power plants were found to be much higher than limit value of UNSCEAR(United Nations Scientific Committee On The Effects Of Atomic Radiation) report for 226Ra, on the other hand for soil samples of Su gözü power plants does not exceed the limit value. 226Ra, 232Th, 40K activity values were determined for fly ash, bottom ash, slag and coal samples of Afşin-Elbistan power plants. In addition, the values of the radium equivalent activity (Raeq), activity concentration of the index (I?), alpha index (I?), gamma dose rate (DR) and the effective dose rate (HR) were calculated.Bu çalışma Ç.Ü.
