The Effects of Plant Density and Plant Age on Yield of Stevia (Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni) in Çukurova Conditions

Ülkemizde Şeker otu olarak bilinen Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni L., Asteraceae familyasından çok yıllık otsu çalı formunda bir bitki olup Türkiye florasında doğal olarak bulunmamaktadır. Ülkemizde Çukurova Bölgesinde 2013 yılında Stevia ile ilgili ilk kez adaptasyon çalışmaları başlatılmış ve bitkinin ticari ekonomik ömrünü saptamak amacıyla hasatlar 2016 yılına kadar sürdürülmüştür. Çalışmada, 2015 ve 2016 yıllarına ilişkin 3 ve 4 yaşlı bitkilerde 30x60,45x60,60x60 cm ekim sıklığı uygulamalarından olumlu sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.
