Bardat (Mersin-Gülnar-Köseçobanlı) göleti mühendislik jeolojisi

The pond, where is in topographic map of O-30-a1, is connected Miskale creek away from it and which has been planned that it feed from that creek, is a homogeny earthfill dam having a purpose of irrigation. Engineering geology of Bardat pond area and its around has been researched in this study. Geotechnical properties such as distribution, brokenness, permeability, quality of rocks at the basement body were investigated. Effects of lithological and structural properties on the dam buildings were studied. Index and principal physical properties of material used in impermeable core researched in order to determine if it is appropriate. Stiffness, maximum dry density and optimum water content of the material used in the dam fill were determined by means of compaction and field density tests. According to the experimental studies, stiffness degree is maximum when optimum water content (Wopt) is between %17- 20. Discontinuities around the dam site were investigated and it was determined that there is a strike slip fault on the right side of the dam body.Bardat Göleti Mersin ili, Gülnar ilçesinin Bardat yerleşim alanı sınırları içerisinde 0-30-a1 paftasında yer almaktadır. Yaklaşık 5 km. kuzeyinde bulunan Miskale Deresine bir iletim kanalı ile bağlanıp, bu dereden beslenmesi düşünülen gölet, homojen toprak dolgu tipinde sulama amaçlı bir gölettir. Bu çalışmada Bardat Göleti, gölalanı ve çevresinin Mühendislik Jeolojisi incelenmiştir. Gölet gövde temelindeki kayaçların yayılım, kırıklık, kalite, geçirimlilik gibi jeoteknik özellikleri araştırılmıştır. Litolojik ve yapısal özelliklerin gölet yapılarına etkisi incelenmiştir. Göletin geçirimsiz kil çekirdeğinde kullanılacak malzemenin dolgu için uygun olup olmadığını belirlemek amacıyla indeks ve temel fiziksel özellikleri incelenmiştir. Dolguda kullanılan kil üzerinde kompaksiyon ve kum konisi deneyleri yapılarak, sıkılık, maksimum kuru birim hacim ağırlığı ve optimum su içeriği saptanmıştır. Deneysel çalışma sonuçları optimum (Wopt) su içeriğinin % 17-20 arasında, sıkılık değerinin maksimum olduğu göstermiştir. Gölet bent yerindeki süreksizlikler incelenmiş ve bentin sağ sahilinde memba mansap doğrultusunda doğrultu atımlı sol yönlü bir fay saptanmıştır.Bu çalışma Ç.Ü.
