According to some hadiths pre-Islamic era practice Hajj.

Bütün ilâhî dinlerde bulunan hac ibadeti, İslam Dini'nde Mekke şehrinde yerine getirilmektedir. Mekke'de bulunan Kâbe, Hz. İbrahim ve oğlu İsmail (as) tarafından bina edilmiştir. Hacla ilgili uygulamalar, Hz. İbrahim tarafından gösterilmiş ve bu esaslar üzerine devam etmiştir. Fakat zamanla hac ibadetine, müşrik Araplar tarafından tevhid inancıyla bağdaşmayacak uygulamalar ilave edilerek, tahrif edilmiştir. Gerek K. Kerim'de, gerekse Hz. Peygamber'in uygulamalarında bunlar gösterilmiş ve aslî haline çevrilmiştir. Biz bu çalışmamızda daha ziyade hadislerde değinilen hacla ilgili câhiliyye uygulamalarına işaret ettik ve bunların Hz. Peygamber tarafından düzeltilmiş hallerini gösterdik.
