Bu çalışmada hasar verilmiş kemerlere uygulanan değişik FRP ile güçlendirme teknikleri deneysel olarak incelenmiştir. Yedi adet kemer numunesi, pres tuğla ve tarihi yapılardaki harca benzer kireç esaslı düşük dayanımlı harç kullanılarak imal edilmiştir. Yeterli dayanıma ulaşan (28 gün dayanımı) kemerlerden, referans olarak adlandırılan numune göçme anına kadar yüklenmiş, diğer numunelere de belli oranda hasar verilmiştir. Sonra farklı boyutlardaki FRP şeritleri, ankraj uygulamaları ve derz dolgu tekniğini içeren altı farklı güçlendirme tekniği altı kemer numunesi üzerinde teste tabi tutulmuştur.
