In this paper the flow and heat transfer characteristics in the turbulent confinement impinging air jet have been numerically analyzed. Two-equation turbulence model, $\kappa-\varepsilon$, have been used. Mass, momentum, energy, turbulent; kinetic energy and turbulent kinetic energy dissipation rate equations were solved by the PHOENICS package program.
