Hubungan Antara Kecemasan Dengan Perilaku Merokok Pada Mahasiswa

This research aims to know the relationship between anxiety and smoking behavior in students. This research uses quantitative methods. The data collection techniques in this study use the anxiety scale and the scale of smoking behavior. The samples in this study were as many as 20 students with Accidental Sampling. Data analysis technique of product moment. The results of the study there was a very significant positive relationship between the anxieties with the smoking behavior of students indicated by the correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.853 and (P 0.000 < 0.01). The donation is 72.7% effective. These results indicate that there are other factors affecting smoking behavior of 27.3%. The results of the analysis of the anxiety variable were obtained an empirical (RE) of 49.65 and a hypothetic (RH) average of 70. These results indicate that the anxiety variables belong to the low category. Meanwhile, the analysis result of a smoking variable is derived from the average empirical (RE) of 51.7 and a hypothetic (RH) average of 75. These results indicate that the variable smoking behavior belongs to the low category
