RESUMEN: La revisión de dos de las líneas de investigación más relevantes en el ámbito de la didáctica de las ciencias, las relacionadas con el cambio conceptual y las concepciones alternativas, muestra una serie de debilidades metodológicas y teóricas que son las mismas que se señalan en seminarios de expertos que evalúan este ámbito.
