Language contributions for the identities and speechesconstruction: a focus on school environment

This article addresses questions about the contributions and the role of language for the construction of discourses and identities, it focus on the importance of teachers speeches for the formulation of senses and meaningsin educational settings, through the process of interacti on between its agents. To achievesu chpurpose, this article will be the or etically supported by Possenti (2001), regarding the role of language and speech, in Gumperz (1992), regarding interacionistacti on language and Coracini (2007), in the case ofthe social, cultural and identiy aspects of the communication and language, relating the mtothe school context.Esse artigo aborda questões acerca das contribuições e do papel da língua(gem) para a construção de discursos e identidades, focando na importância dos discursos docentes para elaboração de sentidos e significados dentro dos contextos educacionais, através do processo de interação entre seus agentes. Para atingir tal fim, este artigo será apoiado teoricamente em Possenti (2001), no que se refere à função da linguagem e do discurso, em Gumperz (1992), no que tange à ação interacionista da linguagem e em Coracini (2007), no que se refere aos aspectos sociais, culturais e identitários, da comunicação e da linguagem, relacionando-os com os contextos escolares
