Abordando el reto de la transformación digital desde el Trabajo Social

Social network services are allowing more social connectivity and making possible sharing information and knowledge of a different nature. This article analyses whether professionals related to active social policies who are working at Malaga, Spain and are using social network services to share information and knowledge and if there is a mirror between online and offline relationships. Since an experimental model, through virtual ethnography and via social network analysis methodology, is observed the presence and connectivity as well as analyzed the relational structure that sustained 77 professionals from 13 organizations on Facebook®. Moreover, it uses the statistical technique of modularity (Girvan y Newman, 2002)was employed to detect online communities, which were compared with distribution of professionals in their organizations. Also its has been identified the influencers nodes (Del Fresno García, 2015). On the other hand, through Clustering Coefficient the “small world” effect (Milgram, 1967). has been reproduced. The results show how social networking services applied to social intervention are massively and frequently used by professionals. Moreover, the detected communities reflect existence of analogy between online and offline relationships. The online structure demonstrates a high degree of cohesion and reveals how certain professionals have higher capacity of influence and diffusion depending on position in the online structure (Burt, 2005). It argues about the opportunity to incorporate social network services towards social intervention as a manner of social innovation to improve cooperation and diffusion of information and knowledge.Los servicios de redes sociales virtuales están permitiendo una mayor conectividad social, propiciando que se acorten las distancias sociales y posibilitando dinámicas interactivas hasta hace poco desconocidas. En este artículo se analiza si los profesionales de la intervención social están conectándose entre sí en las redes sociales virtuales y si hay cierto reflejo entre las pautas de conectividad online y offline. Desde un modelo experimental y mediante etnografía virtual se ha observado la presencia y conectividad en Facebook® de 77 profesionales que trabajan en 13 ONG de la ciudad de Málaga. A través de la metodología de análisis de redes sociales se ha analizado la estructura y se ha identificado a los influencers (Del Fresno García, 2015). Por otra parte, con el algoritmo de Clustering Coefficient se ha reformulado el experimento de “mundo pequeño” de Milgram (1967). Finalmente se ha utilizado el algoritmo de modularidad (Girvan y Newman, 2002) para detectar comunidades en Facebook®, las cuáles se han comparado con la distribución de los profesionales en sus organizaciones. El análisis de las comunidades detectadas muestra la existencia de analogía entre las relaciones online y offline en función a ciertas afinidades. La combinación de una estructura social muy cohesionada y de determinados nodos puentes (Burt, 2005) posibilita los mecanismos de cierre y apertura (Burt, 2005). Para acabar se discute acerca de la oportunidad de incorporar las redes sociales virtuales a la intervención social como fórmula de cooperación y de intercambio de información y conocimiento
