Ce travail de thèse étudie les obstacles empêchant la mise en œuvre d'une responsabilité efficace des entreprises multinationales en cas de violations de droits de l'homme dans leurs chaînes de production. Le premier chapitre analyse les mécanismes développés en droit international public afin d'introduire une réglementation des entreprises multinationales. Le deuxième chapitre explique les inadéquations des systèmes de droit international privé américain et européen pour recevoir les demandes de réparation des victimes.
