PENGELOLAAN LIMBAH CAIR KEGIATAN INDUSTRI TEKSTIL SEBAGAI UPAYA PENCEGAHAN PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN DI KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR ( STUDI KASUS PT. MULIA JEFADANE INDUSTRI )

This research entitled The Industrial Activities of Liquid Waste Management as an Environmental Pollution Prevention Effort at Karanganyar Regency. This reasearch describe and studied, (1) how to manage industrial activities of liquid waste as an environmental pollution prevention effort at Karanganyar Regency (study case of PT JFD), and (2) what are the constrains encountered in managing industrial activities of liquid waste as an environmental pollution prevention effort at Karanganyar Regency (study case of PT JFD). This study was an empiric law research. The type of data included primary and secondary law materials. Techniques of collecting data used were interview and study by studying legislation, legal journals, and legal articles; then the technique analyzing used was inductive thinking method. The result of this study is that the Environmental Agency of Karanganyar believes that the management of textile industry waste in Karanganyar Regency has gone quite well, but in reality industrial liquid waste still often causes anxiety and misunderstanding between residents and the surrounding textile industry companies. In order to managing industrial activities of liquid waste as an environmental pollution prevention effort at Karanganyar Regency some constraints were encountered including PT JFD's liquid waste management has not operated optimally and the obstacles faced are the constrained development of the company's production causing the WWMI (Water Waste Management Instalation) that has been prepared to not be able to run properly.
