ANALISIS PEMBINGKAIAN BERITA PEMINDAHAN IBU KOTA INDONESIA DI DETIK.COM DAN REPUBLIKA.CO.ID PERIODE 1-14 MEI 2019

Capital relocation of Indonesia has became news an issue that lead to pros and cons in the midst of the on going election. News about capital relocation of Indonesia was widely reported by several online media, including Detik.com and Republika.co.id. Most mainstream media stood for the incumbents. Jokowi- Ma'ruf’s success team tend to be a media giant that created difficulties in finding media that was contradicted to government's discourse of capital relocation. This matter causes researcher need to examine pro media, in terms of their alignments. This research is “News Framing about Capital Relocation of Indonesia in the Online Media” aims to discover how Detik.com and Republika.co.id framed the news of capital relocation of Indonesia by periods of May 1-14, 2019. Researcher specify that period because at the end of April 2019, President Joko Widodo held a limited meeting discussing some plan to move the capital. This shows the government's seriousness in handling this plan. During this period, the society was focused on the resultof the lection quick count, but the issue about capital relocation was highlighted again by the media. The research method that used in this study was was qualitative descriptive with the method of framing analysis by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. Pan Kosicki's analysis method consists of four structures; syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical structures. The theory used to triangulate this research theory is media ideology and media reality. This research concludes that Detik.com and Republika.co.id show their alignments towards capital relocation of Indonesia in a different way. Detik.com shows its alignments through news that contains objections to counter news. Whereas Republika.co.id shows its alignments by building an understanding of the importance of capital relocation
