HUBUNGAN ANTARA KONSEP DIRI DENGAN KECEMASAN BERBICARA DIDEPAN UMUM PADA MAHASISWA

Students have academic assignments such as presentations, discussions, expressing ideas / opinions that require them to speak in front of people. there are some problems faced by someone when speaking in public such as anxiety. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-concept and public speaking anxiety in college students. The method in this study was the Spearman Rho with sampling techniques using incidental sampling. Measuring instruments used in this study are self-concept scale and public speaking anxiety scale. The results of this study indicate that the relationship between self-concept and anxiety shows a value of 0.047> 0.05 so that HI is accepted, meaning that there is a significant relationship between negative self-concept and public speaking anxiety
