Distribution Revolution collects in-depth interviews with 17 key Hollywood figures to offer insight on the state of thinking about and strategies for digital distribution of video. The collection includes the perspectives of those working for the studios, new distribution services, and creatives. The editors, who helmed the innovative, but sadly now defunct Media Industries Project at the University of California, Santa Barbara, from 2009 to 2015, are mainly visible in the introductory chapter that explains the shifting industrial conditions about which the interviewees reflect.
