Unpacking the Researching Effective Approaches to Cleaning in Hospitals (REACH) Trial Results – a Q & A session

The Researching Effective Approaches to Cleaning in Hospitals (REACH) Study generated evidence about the impact of the implementation of an environmental cleaning bundle in 11 major Australian hospitals in 2016-2017. Key outcomes of the trial, related to improvements in cleaning and reductions in risk of infections have been presented at an earlier conference session. This session will provide an opportunity to explore these results in more depth, including the state of evidence around cleaning, the process used in developing the bundle and the implications of the outcomes for policy and practice.
