This report presents an independent evaluation that examines the strategic relevance and positioning of the UNDP support under its Support for the institutional Strengthening of the National Regulatory Authority for the UXO/Mine Action Sector (NRA) and of the Lao National UXO Programme (UXO Lao) 2013 - 2015 (now extended to 2016) . The overall objective of this programme of cooperation between the UNDP and the Government of Lao PDR, is to support and further strengthen the institutional capacity of the NRA an d the UXO Lao, the national UXO Sector operator.
