Background: The recurrent stroke affects cognitive status of the stroke patients. Cognitive status can be assessed by Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) which consists of orientation, registration, attention and calculation checks, recall, and languages. The interpretation could be normal, mild, and severe. Purpose: To find out the relationship between the frequency of stroke recurrence and the decrease of stroke patients cognitive. Method: Quantitative observational analytic study with cross sectional approach.
