In a mmWave multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication system employing a large-scale antenna array (LSAA), the hybrid transceivers are used to reduce the power consumption and the hardware cost. In a hybrid analog-digital (A/D) transceiver, the pre/post-processing operation splits into a lower-dimensional baseband (BB) pre/postcoder, followed by a network of analog phase shifters.
