BackgroundLack of consensus on the clinical parameters of periâ implantitis may complicate accurate diagnosis of the disorder. Furthermore, the lack of reliable estimates of the diagnostic capacity of the clinical endpoints precludes the definition of an effective treatment protocol for periâ implantitis.
