Background: Amylase production has been investigated using bacteria isolated from soil Api Kayangan Bojonegoro, East Java. Objectives: Objective: This study aimed to isolate and identify the bacteria and investigate the effects of culture conditions on amylase activity. Methods: The bacteria were cultured in media containing soluble starch as carbon source.
