Part I deals with management systems developments and includes discussions of transit operations and maintenance management support, automated scheduling of transit services, and development of the skills and techniques required by the transit operating industry. Part II, human resources development, includes discussions of human resources development programs, the national study for the validation of a selection test battery for bus operators, and a report by the AFL-CIO Appalachian Council on their transit employee training project. This volume contains six resource papers which can be found summarized in Volume I of this multi-volume work along with summaries of other workshop sessions. Volume I also includes the proceedings of the general sessions and a listing of conference participants. These proceedings (Rpt. Nos.
