The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) was asked to examine potential new connecting hub airports as a means of capacity enhancement to relieve flight delays at major hub airports. This report examines four airports [Huntsville International Airport (Alabama), Port Columbus International Airport (Ohio), Sacramento Metropolitan Airport (California), and Oklahoma City Will Rogers Airport (Oklahoma) aspossible new connecting hubs and describes their potential to relieve congestionat major hubs.84
