This report documents the work performed on the "Development of Requirements and Functional Specifications for Crash Event Data Recorders" project, performed under U.S. DOT Contract: DTFH61-01-C-00182, Task Number: BZ82B007. It includes the results from the three program tasks: Task 1 \u2013 Develop Requirements for an EDR through Crash Analysis, Task 2 \u2013 Review Previous and Ongoing Efforts with Respect to Event Data Recorders (EDRs) and Vehicle Data Recorders (VDRs), and Task 3 \u2013 Develop Functional Specifications for an Event Data Recorder (EDR) for Commercial Motor Vehicles.115
