Research ProgramsUS Transportation CollectionThe Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) Research Program hosted a peer exchange in Helena, Montana, from September 12-14, 2017. The objective for the peer exchange was to explore best practices on implementation, performance measures, and the value of research. MDT compiled and shared questions participants submitted prior to the peer exchange, and discussion around these questions constituted a large portion of the event. Out of the formal presentations and informal Q-and-A, participants concluded the peer exchange by sharing their takeaways on these three topics, including their planned next steps upon return to their own organizations
