This study seeks to: (1) assess the operational scheduling requirements of interstate motor carriers of passengers and property that affect CMV driver fatigue; and (2) identify carrier scheduling and related safety practices that have a positive effect on safety performance. The focus of the study is on the management processes and activities associated with driver scheduling and on commercial vehicle driving environments. 2 p
