The TMA was to be a membership organization that worked towards the development of a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) toolkit \u2013 or a set of strategies, policies, and programs designed to reduce the number of single occupant vehicles (SOV\u2019s) and to promote the use of alternative transportation modes among workers at the BNMC. The BNMC is a consortium of nine healthcare, research and educational institutions located on 120 acres in downtown Buffalo, New York. This document discusses the creation and marketing of the TDM toolkit, project outcomes, and obstacles and planned solutions.78
