Crash data are aggregated by Maryland State Police Central Records Division from 144 law enforcement agencies statewide. Other data are provided through the Maryland Crash Outcome Data Evaluation System project sponsored by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Alcohol fatalities are provided through NHTSA\u2019s Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS).
