All eight were written between January 1984 and May 1988. The topics addressed include front seat belt effectiveness (estimated separately for states with vs. without a seat belt use law, for drivers vs. right-front seat passengers, for occupants of cars vs. pickup trucks, and by crash direction and accident year), rear seat belt effectiveness, and issues in estimating belt effectiveness from accident data.
