Measurements of friction resistance, rutting/wear, ride and pavement condition(alligator, longitudinal and transverse cracking) did not show that the WMA either improved orworsened performance. WMA is an allowable substitute for conventional HMA on all projectsusing less than 20 percent recycled asphalt pavement (RAP). WMA is not allowed when the RAPcontent exceeds 20 percent or when any percentage of recycled asphalt shingles (RAS) isincorporated
