It provides the first analysis of the types of policies that are typically established with an open source portal but are specific to the policy and institutional needs and risks associated with the DMA research objectives. This analysis is provided at this point to inform portal development efforts. However, policy analysis is typically iterative\u2014policy decisions will impact technical choices which may influence the role and/or structure of the OSADP. As a result, policy will need to be examined and modified, as necessary, during the building and testing of the OSADP as well as during subsequent OSADP operations
