A selection of recent artists’ moving image from Asia and South America. These works tell stories of relations between land, place, spirits, and people. They stage encounters between humans and nonhumans, and they show the intimacy and intensity of entanglements of beings. Together they cast nonhuman beings as that which embody history, speculate futures, and tell their own stories.
