International audienceThe Chinese government has implemented a new public diplomacy strategy that highlights the interpersonal dimension of the relationship to change the controversial image of its presence in Africa. Narratives involving interpersonal relationships are used by Chinese media’s Twitter platforms to endorse the latest political statement on China-Africa Community of shared future for mankind.
