Savoir, pouvoir et interprétation du texte sacré dans le monde arabo-musulman

International audienceThrough this article, we aim to highlight the issues involved in the relationship between the conscious choice of a definite reading of the sacred texts and the political powers in place. We will show how this choice, which is totally ideological in a space not yet entirely secularized, constitutes a fundamental prejudice shaping the interpretation of the sacred text. So, the interpretation of the religious text, Quran and Hadiths, become a production of a knowledge put at the service of the established powers. It is a communication well controlled by the religious authorities instituted as authorities in their own right. These ideological devices are official and have a clear mission to legitimize the political system in place. We wish, from the same perspective, to examine, with supporting examples, how the diversity of rites and dogmas is more of a channeled doctrinal orientation than a question of truth from which one sometimes departs to juncture state reason. Formally adopting a dogma is a deliberately conscious direction to manipulate public opinion and make it acquired, even obedient to the authorities who suffer from lack of legitimacy, for lack of a true democracy, and therefore seen as usurpersNous visons, à travers cet article, à mettre en évidence les enjeux du rapport existant entre le choix conscient d'une lecture bien déterminée des textes sacrés et les pouvoirs politiques en place. Nous montrerons comment ce choix, qui est totalement idéologique dans un espace non encore entièrement sécularisé, constitue un préjugé fondamental façonnant l'interprétation du texte sacré. Ainsi, l'interprétation du texte religieux, Coran et hadiths, devient-elle une production d'un savoir mis au service des pouvoirs établis. Elle se veut une communication bien contrôlée par les instances religieuses instituées comme des autorités à part entière. Ces appareils idéologiques officiels ont la mission claire de légitimer le système politique en place. Nous souhaitons, dans la même perspective, examiner exemples à l'appui, comment la diversité des rites et des dogmes est plutôt une orientation doctrinale canalisée, qu'une question de vérité dont on s'écarte parfois pour joindre la raison d'État. Adopter officiellement un dogme, relève d'une orientation délibérée pour manipuler l'opinion publique et la rendre acquise, voire obéissante aux autorités qui souffrent de manque de légitimité, faute d'une vraie démocratie, et donc considérée comme usurpatrices
