International audienceIt is often said that understanding the complex teaching and learning issues at university level requires the networking of several theories. In this paper, we study how the Theory of Didactic Situations and the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic can be combined to address a developmental research issue at university level. We refer to criteria provided by Design-Based Research to compare and contrast the two theories. This preliminary study should allow us to design a teaching intervention related to Calculus at university
