International audienceIn flute-like instruments, sound is generated by a jet-edge interaction. The resonator's extremity close to the edge is an open-end, called "window". This opening influences both the passive resonances of the resonator and sources mechanisms. In the literature this influence is often very approximately estimated, only Verge proposed a model of its impedance.
