Objective: The purpose of this article is to compare the outcomes of transcatheter mitral valve repair (TMVr) using the MitraClip© and open surgical mitral valve repair.1 Method: The method performed was a literature review with PubMed, Google Scholar, and Medline conducted using the search terms transcatheter mitral valve repair.
