It is difficult to find any modern optical system that does not havecomponents with single or multiple layers of optical coatings, scientistsand engineers use optical coating filter based on the interference propertyof electromagnetic wave to achieve a desired reflectivity of light over arange of frequencies.In this paper we propose a two different efficient methods, needleoptimization method and genetic algorithms (GAs), for synthesis opticalcoatings.
