U ovom radu proučene su vremensko-frekvencijske karakteristike signala podvodnog akustičkog modema te je razrađen postupak detekcije komunikacije. Na temelju karakteristika signala i razrađenog postupka detekcije, izveden je ugradbeni sustav za detekciju podvodne komunikacije koji se sastoji od prijemnika sa spuštanjem frekvencije i sustava za izdvajanje i prepoznavanje značajki signala.
