Potatoes are one of the most consumed food around the world. This crop is strongly threatened due to the climate change scenario. It is one of the most sensitive crop to water deficit, which increases the need to develop genotypes adapted to this adverse scenario. The evaluation of agronomic and physiological traits, as well as the characterization of the root systemis very important, since they allow to observe the plant response to stress.
