IMPLEMENTASI LESSON STUDY UNTUKMENINGKATKAN PELAKSANAAN PENDEKATANSCIENTIFIC GURU IPA SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 6KABUPATEN MALANG

The learning process in the curriculum 2013 for every level is implemented by usingscientific approach. The scientific approach on the teaching activity of science class canbe applied through the science processing skill. Scientific approach will successfullyimplemented through the application of processing skill on the science class teachingpresented with accurate strategy and methods. To reach that point, the teachers’ effort is JINoP (Jurnal Inovasi Pembelajaran), Volume 1, Nomor 1, Mei 2015, hal. 47-6048needed in the implementation of the approach. one of the method is by using the LessonStudy activity.The activity is purposed as assistance on the planning and implementation of LessonStudy in developing the understanding and implementation of scientific approach for thescience teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Malang regency. The significance of theresearch is that the science teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Malang regency able todesign and implement the Lesson Study to improve the understanding and implementationof scientific approach. This community service in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Malang regencyin the odd semester 2014/2015 consist of (1) discussion on Lesson Study, (2) assistancein the designing of Lesson Study, (3) assistance in implementing the Lesson Study, (4)assistance in reflecting the Lesson Study, and (5) assistance in the follow-up of the LessonStudy.The findings on the community service at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Malang regency isthat the science teachers in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Malang regency whom at the beginningdo not understand and never implement the learning activity by using Lesson Study canimplement the Lesson Study as a media to improve the capacity of science teaching by usingthe scientific approach through intensive assistance. Along with the first finding, thescience teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Malang regency are able to design the learningimplementation planning (RPP) which characterize the scientific approach, the skill to applythe scientific approach in science teaching, able to do the observation on the implemantationof the learning activity, and able to find the problems in the implemantation of Lesson Studyand the solution. In parallel with the findings, the students of Biology Department duringtheir field teaching experience (PPL) in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Malang regency will get thedirect experience on the implementation of Lesson Study in the learning activity by theiractive role in the teaching activity, both as a model teacher and the observer
