PERBANDINGAN ANALISA USAHA PEMBESARAN IKAN LELE DUMBO SECARA TRADISIONAL DAN SEMI INTENSIF DI KECAMATAN PANDAAN KABUPATEN PASURUAN

Farmers chose the catfish business because it has potential in Pandaan subdistrict that is rich in springs and support local government programs to increase the purchasing power of people so that the field of cultivation is a business that has a very good prospects, because of the request of catfish very much. This research aims to analyze the enlargement of Dumbo catfish traditionally and semi intensively in the district Pandaan Pasuruan Regency and to analyze which type of DUMBO catfish enlargement business is considered more efficient, so as to meet market demand. The method used in this study is a survey method, researchers conduct treatment in data collection, for example by passing questionnaires and structured interviews. The analyses used are break event point analysis, acceptance and cost balance analysis (R/C ratio) and Payback Period (PP). The results showed that if calculated based on the BEP, the traditional Dumbo catfish enlargement is still quite a break-even. While the average production of BEP can be seen on all costs are covered if selling catfish with a minimum of 905 kg.
