Investigation of stabilities of complexes that aluminium(III) forms with some oxygen donor ligands in different ionic media

Bu çalışmada, 2,X-DHBA(X=4, 5 ve 6) ligandları olan 2,4-dihidroksibenzoik asit, 2,5-dihidroksibenzoik asit ve 2,6-dihidroksibenzoik asitin, protonlanma ve aluminyum(III) ile kompleks oluşum dengeleri incelendi. Tüm potansiyometrik ölçümler 25 santigrat derecede ve 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 ve 0.9 M sodyum klorür iyonik ortamlarında gerçekleştirildi. Alüminyum(III):2,X-DHBA komplekslerinin kararlılık sabitleri potansiyometri yöntemi ile 25 santigrat derecede ve spektroskopi yöntemi ile oda sıcaklığında (22-28 santigrat derecede), 0.1-0.9 M aralığında çeşitli iyonik şiddetlerdeki sodyum klorür çözeltilerinde saptandı. Alüminyum(III)’ün 2,X-DHBA ligandları ile mononükleer 1:1 komplekslerini oluşturduğu belirlendi. Oluşan komplekslerin stokiyometrileri sürekli değişimler yöntemi ile saptandı. Ayrıca, 0.1-0.9 M sodyum klorür iyonik şiddet aralığındaki herhangi bir iyonik ortamda çalışılan ligandların protonlanma ve alüminyum(III) ile oluşturduğu 1:1 tipindeki komplekslerinin kararlılık sabitlerinin belirlenmesine olanak veren Debye-Huckel tipinde ilgili genel eşitlikler türetildi.In this study, the protonation of 2,X-DHBA(X = 4, 5, 6) ligands: 2,4dihydroxybenzoic acid, 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid and 2,6-dihydroxybenzoic acid and the complex formation equilibria of aluminium(III) with 2,X-DHBA ligands have been investigated. All potentiometric measurements were performed at 25 degrees centigrade and the ionic strengths of 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and 0.9 M sodium chloride media respectively. The stability constants of aluminium(III):2,X-DHBA complexes have been determined by potentiometry at 25 degrees centigrade and by spectroscopy at room temperature (22 – 28 degrees centigrade) in sodium chloride solution at various ionic strengths in the range 0.1-0.9 M. It was shown that aluminium(III) forms a mononuclear 1:1 complex with 2,X-DHBA ligands. The stochiometries of the formed complexes were defined by continuous varitions method. Moreover, Debye-Huckel type general equations were derived in order to define the protonation constants of studied ligands and the stability constants of 1:1 type complexes formed with aluminium(III) in any ionic media those are in 0.1- 0.9 M range.Alexander Von Humbolt Vakf
