The data of 39 patients with transcutaneous oximetry (tpcO2) who underwent surgery at the level of the lower leg for severe ischemia of the lower limb of a severe degree were studied. The results of the study showed that in patients operated on for severe ischemia of the lower limb of a severe degree, the level of tissue hypoxia in terms of tpcO2 was directly proportional to the suppurative complications of the disease. Determination of tpcO2 during operations at the level of the tibia according to Mitish, helps to reduce postoperative purulent complications
